Kimberly Nessler came to the festival as volunteer at the Information booth. She joined the Board of Directors, serving several years as Vice President. She also joined the Community Planners where she has headed such committees as the Restaurant Discount Cards, the K-12 Poster Contest and others through the years.

Onsite, Kimberly is an invaluable worker, coordinating the layout of all vendor booths and serving as Vendor Liaison throughout the day. In this capacity she sees to it that all vendors have what they need to make the best of the day.

An office associate in WKU’s English Department by day, Kimberly assists students with their registration, course scheduling and classroom technology. She also helps the department with faculty hiring and event management.

In her spare time Kimberly leads an active life, kayaking whenever she gets a chance and advocating for animals.

Though she is on temporary hiatus from the Board, Kimberly remains a Community Planner and will be at the Festival September 30 coordinating between the Information Booth, the vendors, Parks and Recreation personnel, the site team and subcontractors.
