The 2011 Bowling Green International Theme will be People Helping People.  This year’s theme was inspired by the 50th Anniversary of the Peace Corps.  In addition to saluting the work of the Peace Corps, festival planners hope to work with and celebrate local organizations which promote volunteerism.

In addition to incorporating the theme into some of the booths and activities featured at the festival, the theme is used for a student poster contest.  Area K-12 students are invited to submit posters.  The posters are displayed from mid September – mid October in the Warren County Courthouse.

This year the Bowling Green International Festival will take place on September 24, 2011 from 9am-7pm at Circus Square Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
