At the March Bowling Green International Festival inc. board of directors meeting Charles Borders was nominated for board membership and he has since accepted the appointment.

Charles is an Assistant Professor of History at Western Kentucky University and teaches at Bowling Green Community College.  He is a graduate of WKU and Barren County High.

For the past several years Charles Borders has been instrumental in the orchestration of the Bowling Green International Festival as our Assistant Site Manager.  This is one of the most labor intensive jobs at the event.   The site management team oversees pre-festival setup of all festival booths, vendor placements and performance areas, controls traffic and the festival perimeter and manages post festival teardown and cleanup.
