Thanks area media who have posted comments, photos and video from Saturday’s Bowling Green International Festival! Every year local radio stations, television stations and newspapers attend and make social media posts or entries on their website in support of this event.  Without them, our extraordinary participation and attendance numbers would not be possible.  Bowling Green is lucky to get such great support for this and many other community events from our committed media professionals.

We also appreciate all the festival-goers, independent photographers/videographers, bloggers etc. who give us permission to download and repost their photos and video to our own website and social media pages so that they are easily accessible for years to come. Follow us on Facebook for weekly posts leading up to the 30th Annual Bowling Green International Festival September 26, 2020! If you have photos or footage from past events we’d love to share them and keep them in our archives. Email director@bginternationalfest.com for more information.

Here is some of the great coverage we have found:

WNKY

Candace Price of WNKY describes the event in a video titled “Annual International Festival promotes diversity, culture” on the WNKY website – https://www.wnky.com/2019-bowling-green-international-festival/ The video includes an interview with Festival Vice-President and Volunteer Coordinator Hannah Barahona.

At the bottom of the same WNKY webpage you’ll find a vlog style video by SOKY Sunrise host Tej Joshi.  Tej gives a tour of the Festival. He stops to talk to some of the food vendors and learns about what they are making.  This video also includes lively comments by Board member Clay Smalley, Jr., our Children’s Activities Co-Chair who runs the Piñata area.

Tej was also live on WNKY’s Facebook page during the event where he spoke with World Stage host Katelyn Mason – https://www.facebook.com/wnkytv/videos/463085650961652/
