Mango Kulfi
This is an easy to prepare modern variation of the popular frozen dairy dessert dating from the 16th century. Kulfi is sometimes referred to as “traditional Indian ice cream”, though it is creamier and denser than ice cream. Traditional flavors include cream, rose, mango, cardamom, saffron and pistachio.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 14 oz. Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 30 oz. Mango Pulp
- 12 oz. Evaporated Milk
- ½ tablespoon powdered Cardamom
Description:
- Add powdered Cardamom and whole cans of Mango Pulp, Evaporated Milk, Sweetened Condensed Milk, and Cool Whip into a blender.
- Blend ingredients for 60 seconds on High or on “Ice Cream” setting, if applicable.
- Pour thick, pudding-like mixture into a freezable container.
- Cover container with Saran Wrap.
- Freeze overnight.
- Serve and enjoy while frozen!
