How to Enter: Submit a JPG image of your design displayed on your suggested shirt color using the online submission link. If selected as the winner, you must provide a transparent, print-ready EPS file for production.
Design Guidelines:
- The design must include either “Bowling Green International Festival” or “BGIF”
- Do not include a year or date
- Design should be for one side of the shirt only
- Artwork must fit within a standard T-shirt chest print area
- Designs using five or fewer colors are preferred, though full-color designs are welcome
Selection Process: The Festival Board of Directors will review all submissions and select finalists. Finalist designs will then be posted on Facebook from August 10–17 for public voting to determine the winning design.
Winner Requirements: The winner will be notified after selection is determined. Prior to receiving payment, the selected designer must provide:
- A print-ready transparent EPS file
- A short biography
- A photograph of themselves
- The winning artist will also be invited to attend the festival opening ceremony for public recognition.
Licensing Agreement: By entering the contest, participants grant the festival permission to share submitted designs on social media indefinitely. The winning design may also be used indefinitely on festival merchandise, promotional materials, and souvenirs.
