Our Event

The last Saturday each September, beautiful Circus Square Park becomes an international paradise of nationalities coming together to proudly share their cultures. The Bowling Green, Kentucky festival is a traditional celebration. It honors the heritage and diversity among our residents through music, dance, demonstrations, authentic foreign foods, edu-tainment activities, cultural displays and an international bazaar

Our Mission

• To celebrate ethnic and cultural diversity in the region and around the world.
• To educate area residents about the value of the international cultures.
• To promote appreciation of the various international cultures and people within our own community.
• To empower international residents to fully participate in the life of the community.

The festival is organized and operated by a nonprofit 501(c)3 called Bowling Green International Festival, Inc. BGIF is not directly affiliated with any other organization though we partner and network with many for profit and not for profit organizations as well as community members and students to produce the event.
