Create a T-shirt design for the 2018 Bowling Green International Festival! Each year the festival carries a new design by a local artist at the merchandise booth near the fountain.

The submission deadline is July 22, 2018.  A $150 honorarium is awarded to the creator of the chosen design and they are recognized at the Festival’s opening ceremony and on its website. The T-shirt design contest is open to all southcentral Kentuckians. The winner is selected by the Bowling Green International Festival Board of Directors.

The deadline for the BGIF poster contest is this week and Monday People’s Choice voting will begin.

The People’s Choice Award will be given to the student in each category whose poster receives the most likes on the Festival’s Facebook page during online voting.

Like our Facebook page so you can vote on an audience favorite from each category September 18-25. Although we will not post identifying information on the images during the contest, Facebook users are free to tag images. Votes cast by profiles that have not liked the page will not be counted.

All posters are due (Thursday) September 14th, 2017 No later than 4:00 p.m. at the Warren County Attorney’s Office 1001 Center Street, Suite 206, Bowling Green KY 42101. Southcentral Kentucky students from public, private or home schools are invited to participate. The contest challenges K-12 students to create posters celebrating the Festival.

Winners will be recognized at the Bowling Green International Festival Opening Ceremony beginning at 8:45 a.m. on September 30 on the Diversity Stage. All judged and audience choice winners will receive a trophy. All winners will also be announced on our social media accounts on September 26.
