]]> Emma ThomasEmma began volunteering for the Festival at 13.  A Bowling Green High student and Purples fan, as soon as she got her driver’s license she took charge of erecting all the festival banners around town each year.  And, before graduating she had also taken charge of running the Gates during the Festival, taking charge of more than 24 volunteers throughout the day.

This summer Emma relocated to Florida and works on an island at a tourist shop so she won’t be joining us at the Festival.  But, before she left she continued to help make plans for the event as a Community Planner.
