Perform at the Virtual BGIF

The Virtual Bowling Green International Festival will feature both live and pre-recorded music and dance performances as well as other types of demonstrations. We have partnered with Vid Monster Productions to ensure a high quality virtual stage presentation.

Note that our budget will be a fraction of its normal size in 2020 due to the elimination of attendance fees, booth fees and a severe reduction in sponsorships because of current conditions. We have talked to groups who have had success with virtual tip jars and will be promoting them to support our performers. We hope that the Virtual Bowling Green International Festival will bring our performances to people who have not been able to attend our in-person events.

We are pleased to offer all our performers the opportunity to be recorded by Vid Monster Productions! This will be done in an outdoor setting with social distancing and other safety precautions. Other options include guidance for self-produced recording, having Vid Monster Productions edit your raw footage and remote recording.*

Your performance video can be as long as you please. Stage time will be determined based on how many participate. Any footage not used on our virtual stage will be available to Festival attendees on demand.

*In-person filming: Our partner, Vid Monster Productions follows CDC recommendations to protect all clients and staff including: social distancing, providing soaps and sanitizer, disinfecting equipment, wearing masks and an outdoor studio. Performers who use this opportunity to go to Vid Monster for a professionally filmed and produced video must wear a mask and social distance at all times except while performing.
