What is the Restaurant Discount Card?
The BG International Festival Discount Card provides the holder with a 10% discount at all listed restaurants from the date of the festival until the next year's festival. The discount applies only to the cardholder, excludes alcohol and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. 1000 Restaurant Discount Cards are printed. They are sold at the festival for $5 and are given to festival volunteers and sponsors.

How does helping us, help you?
Joining the festival Restaurant Discount Card is a great way to support the Bowling Green International Festival, introduce your business to new customers and encourage customers to return more often. In addition to being on the card, your company will gain recognition and exposure before, during, and after the festival. Other local nonprofit organizations may sell the Restaurant Discount Cards for a commission as a fundraiser.

How much exposure will your company receive?
In addition to signage at the festival, participants are listed in a variety of locations including table tents distributed in the Bowling Green area. The festival website receives over 566,000 hits a year with nearly 200,000 of those in September and participants are listed on the site. Press releases with particpants are sent to a variety of media outlets and announcements of partipants are posted to Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

How much does it cost to be included on the Restaurant Discount Card?
It is free to be on the Restaurant Discount Card. Participants must honor the 10% discount from one festival to the next. The 2011 Restaurant Discount Card is valid from September 24, 2011 to September 29, 2012.
