Draw a poster that celebrates the Bowling Green International Festival! Any medium may be used. Any size is accepted, but we prefer no larger than a regular poster board.
Eligibility
Students in Grades K-12. All students in South Central Kentucky city, county and private schools as well as homeschooled students are invited to participate. Permission must be granted to post winner’s name, grade, teacher and school on our website and social media.
Deadline
All posters are due (Thursday) September 13th, 2018 No later than 4:00 p.m. at the Warren County Attorney’s Office 1001 Center Street, Suite 206, Bowling Green KY 42101.
Judging
Posters are judged on creativity, artistic ability and theme by staff at the Warren County Attorney’s Office. In addition, a People’s Choice Award will be given to the student in each category whose poster receives the most likes on the festival’s Facebook page between September 17 and September 24, 2018. Categories are determined upon receipt of entries but there are at minimum two categories: Grades K-8 & Grades 9-12.
People's Choice
Once voting is announced, visit & like our Facebook page. Then go to the albums with entries and choose your favorite in each by liking the image. Support your choice by sharing the link! Voting ends September 24, 2018 at midnight.
Exhibition
All posters will be exhibited on the festival’s Facebook page. Posters can be picked up at the festival’s information booth on September 29, 2018. If you are unable to attend the Festival, posters will be available for pick-up at the Warren County Attorney’s office for one week following the Festival.
Award
Winners will be recognized at the Bowling Green International Festival Opening Ceremony beginning at 8:45 a.m. festival day on the Diversity Stage. All judged and People’s Choice Award winners will receive a trophy and be recognized.
