Members of the quartet began playing together during their studies at the Heidelberg Music College and while playing in the Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra. The quartet plans a tour to Iceland in 2004.

All four members of the quartet are currently teachers and performers in Heidelberg and Ulm, Germany, who have performed with orchestras and as soloists throughout Europe, the United States, and Japan.

The quartet will arrive from Ulm, Germany, on Saturday, September 20, 2003, and will depart the following Sunday, September 28, 2003. During their stay in Bowling Green the quartet will present a concert at the First Christian Church on Tuesday, September 23, at 7:30 p.m., and will give a special concert at the International Festival on Saturday, September 27. The quartet is being sponsored by Jerry E. Baker and the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra. The program at the First Christian Church will include music by Bach, Mozart, and Aimon.
