Latin Sounds

Coqui is a Native of Perú, South America with a Degree in Economics. He is also a student of music and theatre and is bilingual. He has been involved in the music business for fifteen years during which time he has written scores for Soup Operas and toured all around Peru including on a cruise line down the Amazon river.

Coqui has written and published jingles for TV and radio for a variety of companies, music for documentaries about Peruvian culture (The Incas), music for Circus Shows and music for a live Children’s Show.

He has recorded one CD containing songs he wrote, arranged and performed. One song, recorded at Star Studios, is dedicated to Bowling Green and called "Angel in Bowling Green". He has been Lead Vocalist for several Latin bands in Perú. He is a singer and instrumentist, playing keyboard, Bass, Guitar and Drums. He is known in Perú as the "Phil Collins LATINO". There he recorded many albums with Latin musicians.

Coqui has recently been experimenting with computer music. His live performances are very energetic and encourage audience participation.

His goals are: to sign with a record label, score music for a movie, and continue doing live shows with all kinds of music and songwriting for anyone who is interested.

Coqui's hope: To always give all my talent to serve people and make life a little bit better for everyone.
