The SCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and re-creation of life in the Middle Ages. The SCA is divided into geographic regions, known as kingdoms, and Loch an Fhraoich is the northernmost shire of the Kingdom of Meridies covering Warren, Barren, Allen, Simpson, and Logan counties in south central Kentucky.

The SCA will also attend Roll Around the World on September 9. This group are also perennial favorites at the Glasgow Highland Games
