LOST RIVER is a musical partnership committed to the finest in traditional, original and contemporary folk music. The band was formed in July of 2000, and is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky where the band fashions its name after a popular local landmark. The group has performed at many events in Bowling Green and the surrounding area. Specializing in innovative arrangements, and vocal harmonies, Lost River brings together years of professional musicianship in group and solo ventures. It is this blending of styles and experiences that give Lost River its unique sound. In July 2002, Jack Montgomery, featuring the other members of Lost River, released the CD, "Onward to Avalon", which presents, what the band believes, is a new and innovative blend of Celtic, original and traditional folk music. |
