Regional Resource Center for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing will perform a variety of short "acts" Sign singing with a beat, children signing a song, a general introduction to the world of the Deaf by Nancy Perry (who is deaf and also chairperson of the RRCDHH), some information given by Rex about issues relating to loss of hearing/Hard of Hearing, perhaps an interpretive dance using signs, possibly a short narrative about Deaf Culture (differences between the Deaf and Hearing worlds). The organization will also have an informational booth during the festival. |
