Andee's CHINA TRIP OPEN HOUSE, September 24th from 1:00pm until 3:00pm Andee's CHINA TRIP reception, September 25th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm Both will be held in the Fellowship Hall at The Presbyterian Church, Bowling Green, KY 42101 From the Western part of the Silk Road, to National Day in Tiananmen Square, Andee was able to travel across the country of China. Sometimes unsure of where she would actually end up, Andee was able to capture a view of China unlike any other. |

Andee's CHINA TRIP exhibit shares with viewers some of the people and places she experieced on her way across the country. She was able to build relationships in China despite the language barriers and cultural barriers. The images in the exhibit carefully narrate the exciting and colorful trip. Andee hopes that through sales from this exhibit she may plan a return trip to China. Andee's CHINA TRIP exhibit will be on display in the Fellowship Hall at The Presbyterian Church in downtown Bowling Green, Kentucky. Located at 1003 State Street, the church will be hosting the exhibit during their Liturgical Arts Festival: An International Celebration. Andee is proud to announce that a portion of each purchase from her exhibit will go to the Litergical Arts Festival. Events planned for the Liturgical Arts Festival include: Sunday, September 25th-11:00am Prayers for the Nation, Lloyd Larson A service of music and prayers calling for national, international and personal PEACE given by the Chancel Choir and an instrumental ensemble. Sunday, September 25th-3:00pm A Recital of French Music Music by Saint-Saens, Faure, Massanet and Franck Tuesday, September 27th-7:30pm Mark Walker, Organist Mark Walker performs the music of Spain, Germany, Mexico, Japan, Malta and France. Wednesday, September 28th-6:30pm Dr. JAK Njoku, Facilitator Dr. Njoku presents a program of world music and dance to children of the community. Thursday, September 29th-7:30pm Russian Night The First Baptist Church(BG,KY) will host the Bowling Green-Western Kentucky University Symphony Orchestra as it performs Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No.2 in C Minor. Also, pianist Douglas Weeks will perform Kalinnikov's Symphony No.1 in G Minor. Saturday, October 1st-6:30pm Dinner Concert with the Western Kentucky University Chamber Choir, Paul Hondorp, Director The festival comes to a close with a catered dinner followed by the WKU Chamber Choir presenting a program of international music.
