Mustafa Abdul-Aleem is the founder of Nashville's African Culture University. His artistic endeavors also include the reggae band Mystic Meditations and the African Culture University Drum and Dance Ensemble. Mustafa will bring members of the ensemble to accompany his drumming. Between concerts, Mustafa will be at his booth conducting drum workshops as well as accompany fire artists Fire and Strings. Mustafa's workshops are hands on, offering festival goers an opportunity to not only learn about, but play the various African percussion instruments he brings.   |
