The following are local media sources that sometimes feature local talent. Our performers and participants are encouraged to arrange promotions about their work and participation. We have visitors from the entire region so don't hesitate to mention it in your own community or if you have roots to a nearby community. Check online for their stations and publications.

Several of the below media have Facebook or MySpace pages that allow you to place event information on their wall with a link to your page.

Radio:

  • The Tony Rose Morning Show: Local DJ Tony Rose has guests related to community events and organizations as well as artists for live interviews (note this is a morning drive time show 6 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.).   • Revolution 91.7: The Western Kentucky University campus station has a variety of shows that feature student DJ's and the music they prefer. It also includes a show called Local Shots which features interviews, on air performances and music from local and regional independent bands.   • The Amplifier is a local arts & entertainment print & web publication. Print issues are monthly and require early contact, but online article postings are continuous and they sometimes post press releases from event promoters, music labels and organizations.
